• Create a polygon object (e.g. a plane like the above). Let’s call it A.

  • Duplicate it and call the duplicate B.

  • Push and pull some vertices to make them look quite different.

  • Open the Paint Deform UI either by choosing Paint Deform… from the bcsUI’s Extras menu or by executing the mel command: DPK_paintDeform;

  • Select object A and press the Choose button in the UI. This will load it as the Target Object.

  • Make sure Operation is set to Smooth Deltas.

  • Select object B.

  • Press Enter Tool. This will open the Tool Settings for the artisan Paint Scripts Tool and configure it to paint with the DPK_paintDeform scripts.

  • Paint with operation Replace and medium opacity.
